Dr. Lynn Judith Da Silva-LoCascio received a Bachelors, in Physical Education at Adelphi University, a Masters in Professional Studies, Business, Physical Education, and Exercise, at Adelphi University, a Masters, in Education, at College of St. Rose and a Ph.D., Doctorate of Philosophy, in Education, at Concordia University of Chicago. Dr. Da Silva-LoCascio is a Physical Education Teacher at Rockville Centre UFSD for Elementary School Kindergarten - 5th grade. Her focus is on Physical Education, and Special Physical Education. She was named Teacher of the Year, multiple times. She graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the National Honor Society. She was involved in organizing Nassau County Special Olympics as a coach for 8 sports and formed the first team to participate in the New York State Games opening participation for public schools .She is a member of the Fogo Azul NYC all female Brazilian drummers playing the caixia (snare). In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, and exercising. She is an artist and enjoys mosaic and acrylic media. Her pride and joy are Samantha and Christian. Her soulmate Jodi travels with her to different states and countries enjoying the natural beauty of the World.
